Facility Feature: Aldie Senators | On Deck Sports Blog

The Aldie Senators worked with On Deck Sports (ODS) to turn their indoor batting cage vision into a reality!

Jeff Ratliff had plans to build a new 18,000 square foot building. Approximately 11,000 square feet of that building would house a new training space for pitching, hitting and field for the Aldie Senators, a youth baseball organization in Virginia. On Deck Sports outfitted the space with a turf and netting system that would allow them to have a large field area with half of it being able to be utilized for hitting and pitching with up to 6 hitting and pitching lanes when desired. This gives them the ability to host both offensive and defensive practices simultaneously as well as host other sports like softball, soccer, football, lacrosse etc. during down times.

The netting system allows Jeff to have an almost endless number of layouts allowing them for true multipurpose use of the space. The system is not only functional and easy to operate, but safe for those training on the field or walking around the common spaces of the facility.
